A huge thank you to all the public bodies that submitted ideas as part of the first round of the DfT TEST programme.
The Round 1 Idea Stage has now closed, attracting 23 applications, demonstrating the appetite for innovation and experimentation across the sector.
Following assessment from the DfT TEST Expert Team, ten projects have been selected to progress to the Proposal Development Stage. Over the coming months, successful applicants will work closely with the DfT TEST Expert Team to further develop their proposals, strengthen delivery plans, and ensure the right foundations are in place for robust trial delivery and evaluation.
This next stage represents an exciting opportunity to transform promising ideas into well-designed trials and/or insights capable of generating valuable evidence, insight and impact for the wider transport community.
